KBA Personal Training Policies


Only authorised Kettlebell Athletica Personal Trainers who are all certified highly skilled kettlebell instructors are permitted to train clients at our kettlebell training fitness studio.  All our trainers also pay a fee to Kettlebell Athletica for this dispensation.


You must contact Kettlebell Athletica to schedule a time for your Kettlebell Athletica Kickstart  1 on 1 orientation session prior to commencing your Personal Training sessions by emailing

During this session you complete a personal profile form, Health History Questionnaire, and Policies forms as well as pay for your PT session or package upfront.

All scheduling, rescheduling or cancellation of Personal Training Services should be done by emailing


Clients are expected to begin working out at the start time of the scheduled appointment.  A late start time does not entitle a client to a session longer than the scheduled appointment.


Your trainer has set a time aside for your session and costs have been injured.  Therefore, cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will carry a $20 late cancellation fee.  So if you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please call your personal trainer to reschedule your training session for another time.  If your trainer is not available to take your call please leave a message and your trainer will call you back to reschedule another date and time, and/or alternatively send an email to  If it is a last minute emergency and you have your instructors telephone number, please call the emergency in to the instructor directly.

Note: All personal training packages have expiration dates.

Any sessions that remain after the expiration date will be forfeited.

1 session: 1 month from the date of purchase.

5 sessions: 6 months from the date of purchase

10+ sessions: 12 months from the date of purchase.

It is your responsibility to know the expiration date of the class package.

All private training sessions will cater for all levels of fitness.

  • Advice the instructor prior to your personal training session of any injuries you may have currently, or if you are pregnant – your trainer will then be able to advise you of any particular exercises you should avoid or modify for your own comfort.
  • If you have any doubts or queries about your posture, exercise techniques, discomfort you may be feeling, etc., do not hesitate to consult your instructor.  Our trainers are all certified and qualified, are very approachable and will do all they can to answer your queries.
  • If you should feel pain or discomfort at any stage do not persist with the exercise causing discomfort.  Speak to your trainer so your personal training session can be modified.
  • Finally, relax and enjoy your workout.  Work hard, listen to your trainer at all times and concentrate on doing each exercise correctly to achieve the results you want.
